Continuing Development Workshops

Responding to comments in the recent membership survey, the OHS is developing a regular series of Continuing Development Workshops to provide its members a chance to reflect upon and discuss oral history practice and methodology. Although our annual conferences are an excellent place to present current work, we recognise that there is demand for an additional and more informal space for thought, debate and discussion.

The Workshop is open to all OHS members (proof of membership is required upon booking), whether you have been currently involved or have experience in oral history for 12 months or 12 years; whether you work on your own, in a university, museum, library or community project. This is a discursive event which is not a 'how-to' or practical skills session, and in order to facilitate discussion the number of participants for each workshop is limited to fifteen.

New dates to be confirmed. Please contact us for further information on future courses.
